A down-to-earth, free spirited architectural landscape photographer that has lost her muse who upon returning home, meets a man who is is going to stand in opposition to her in this enemies-to-lovers romance.

Ava Hamilton is a down-to-earth, free spirit that broke down barriers between the haves and have-nots on the Shores of Dora, forming long-lasting friendships with the wealthier side of town. As one of the most celebrated residents of the Shores, she stays on the go as a renowned architectural landscape photographer. When her father calls and asks if she will return home and use her talent, platform, and connections to help him and the historical society save two buildings, she returns. Only, her father doesn’t know she was planning to come home for the summer to regain her lost muse after breaking up with her boyfriend.

Grant Hawthorne is a straight-laced executive who last visited the Shores of Dora when he was seven years old. After his parents got a divorce and his mother remained in the Shores, remarried, and started a new family, he never returned to the place he believed to have caused his family to fall apart. When his father dies, he inherits land on the Shores, and developers begin contacting him about the land, an alluring proposal since he is eager to unload the land associated with painful memories.  

Ava and Grant find themselves on opposite sides of the issue and their wealth disparities make that divide even bigger. Despite butting heads, Grant feels free, for once in his life.  And against his better judgement, he leans into his growing feelings for Ava and continues to explore and relearn the Shores with her snapping pictures at every turn. But Ava finds herself conflicted over her desire to conserve history and what is happening between her and Grant. Can they come together to forge a new path together or will their differences be too much to overcome?
