About the Author

Knock Knock is a maker of clever office supplies—notepads, sticky notes, journals and planners—and card decks, books, and other gifts that bring wit, heart, and productivity to everyday life. Their mission is to create products that help you accomplish your goals, express your feelings, and laugh at the absurdity of modern existence—and they consider list-making and humor to be essential forms of self-care.

Knock Knock was founded in 2002 by Jen Bilik, and in 2018 joined forces with Em & Friends, the fellow stationery and gift product company founded by Emily McDowell. In 2022, the small-but-mighty Knock Knock and Em & Friends team became part of the family at Union Square & Co., contemporary book publisher and product company.
