Craig Ivanyi is Executive Director Emeritus of the Desert Museum, where he worked for over four decades, including 14 years as Executive Director. Craig is a herpetologist at heart and spends most of his free time looking for reptiles and amphibians in the wild and re-creating them through art. Craig has authored dozens
of publications, including Treasured Legacies: Conservation, Art, Education and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, and contributed chapters to several books, including Wilder Kingdom, The Ark and Beyond, A Natural History of the Sonoran Desert, Lizards of the Southwest, and Conservation of Endangered Species in Captivity: An Interdisciplinary Approach.
