About the Author
Amanda Davis is a teacher, artist, writer, and innovator. After receiving a B.A. from Salve Regina University, and a M.A.T. in Art Education from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, she taught high school art for ten years, where writing and reflecting were an integral part of her curriculum. Through her work, Amanda strives to empower younger generations to tell their own stories and offer children and adults an entryway into a world of discovery—a world that can help them make sense of themselves and the community around them. Amanda lives in the Boston area with her family and her rescue pups.
